First Lady Tanja

Lady Tanja C. Jackson  is a true woman of God who walks in integrity, love and compassion. She was raised in a Christian home where she accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior at an early age. She is the fifth child of eight children born to Melvin (deceased) and Karetha Sudduth on October 20 in Chicago, Illinois. On June 2, 1984 she united in holy matrimony to Pastor Norris at Bethel A.M.E. Church, Chicago, IL. They have four children: two sons (Norris iii {EJ} and Quinten); two daughters (Nichelle and Melva).

Having fulfilled some of her dreams, Lady Tanja holds both a Type 75 Administration Certificate and a Masters of Education degree from Olivet Nazarene University and has received her Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Chicago State University.

Lady Tanja is a natural born leader that is full of virtue, walks in integrity, lives with purpose and is gifted with extraordinary talents. She currently serves as the Third Vice President of the Women's Missionary Society of the Chicago Annual Conference. She has also served as a local Women's Missionary Society President and Director of Christian Education. She is a certified Evangelist, an anointed Praise Dance Instructor, a spiritual pioneer in her on own right. She has a Teacher's spirit and a servant's heart. She has an organic passion for the growth and development of the youth and loves to minister to women of all ages, nurturing and assisting them in their spiritual development.

When Lady Tanja isn't planning or working faithfully for the church, she is utilizing her spiritual gifts as a Master Teacher for the West Harvey School District where she has served for over 20 years.
